Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek

The Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek is a public research library for literary and cultural history with a collection focusing on German literature from the period around 1800

The library collection amounts to 1 million articles.

The library can be visited by a maximum of only 290 persons every day

After being damaged by fire in 2004, the historic library building with the famous Rococo Hall has now been reopened.and can be visited by a maximum 290 persons every day
